This permanent position is intended to make a significant contribution to research and teaching in social work at Bath. This is an opportunity to join one of the top universities in the UK and to work with a highly committed and successful team of social work academics.
You will be expected to enhance the profile, reputation and impact of social work at Bath and therefore must be able to demonstrate evidence of research excellence, effective teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and a successful track record of academic collaboration with local, national and international stakeholders.
Applicants should have a PhD degree and must hold a recognised social work qualification and be either registered/eligible for registration with the HCPC. Applicants with expertise in social work law and practice with adults; leadership and management in social work; or social work in international contexts are particularly encouraged to apply. However we welcome applications from qualified academics with expertise in other areas of social work practice and administration.
