The aim is to enable multiple different, autonomous agencies and multiple different and differently configured human agencies to work together to increase the collective capability of the whole human-autonomous system (HAS) and achieve their objectives in a safe, agile and efficient manner. Key scientific challenges that must be addressed are: 1.     The capture, abstraction, representation and sharing of knowledge across diverse and complex groups of, people (commanders, controllers) and autonomous agents, to improve awareness and understanding; 2.     The development of collective decision-making (ie bringing together multiple independent explorations and assessment of diverse information in different parts of the collaborative system); 3.     The development of agile command and reporting structures across diverse systems; 4.     The development of collective learning that enables commanders, controllers and agents to responsively assess, learn and where appropriate re-apply novel behaviour.   This project requires a post-doctoral research associate (Grade 7) to join the existing team and who must hold a PhD in Computer Science or Human Computer Interaction.
