The UCAR NCAR Memorandum of Understanding

NCAS have a longstanding formal relationship with the National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the USA. The MOU outlines a framework for scientific and educational cooperation between NCAS and NCAR.

Research Areas of Mutual Interest include, but are not limited to;

1. Research in atmospheric and related sciences.
2. Atmospheric and earth system modelling and prediction
3. Development and application of cyber-infrastructure.
4. Design, development and use of in situ and remote sensing observational systems.
5. Education, outreach, and professional development.
